We had cold weather and rain (and a snowstorm in Helsinki) but the mild winter and early spring in the Netherlands filled the fields with flowers. We had fun but I’m now itching to get back to watching some movies! For a change of pace, these are my own pictures.

Beautiful. Welcome home!
Looks like a wonderful trip. The last few week were quite mild in northern Europe. How was the boat cruise?
The river cruise was great. I really like a small ship. This one carried 190 passengers. All the stops were wonderful. I especially liked Antwerp. We really lucked out on the weather. Most years we wouldn’t have seen any tulips in March.
Glad you had a good time, Bea. The pictures are beautiful and you are one of many I have heard say that they love the river tours. Guess I will have to break down and try it. We missed you.
Despite the iffy weather I would also recommend traveling this early in the season. All the sites were remarkably free of tourists with the exception of Bruges.
I missed you too.
