About Me
I’ve been a classic movie fan for many years. My original mission was to see as many movies as I could get my hands on for every year from 1929 to 1970. I have completed that mission.I then carried on with my chronological journey and and stopped midway through 1978. You can find my reviews of 1934-1978 films and “Top 10” lists for the 1929-1936 and 1944-77 films I saw here. For the past several months I have circled back to view the pre-Code films that were never reviewed here.

A tad difficult to watch movies without a screen…

Well in North Las Vegas which is part of the greater metropolitan area.
I can’t believe we are heading toward Christmas! I might skip the year in review this year.

Still waiting to get a tv set up. I’m lucky I’m connected to the Internet.
I was pet-sitting on Thanksgiving. So I had access to the dog’s cable. I decided it was time to bite the bullet and finally watch The Human Centipede.
It’s really not that hard to watch after the first pooping scene.
And last night I watched I Walk Alone (1947) with Burt Lancaster, Kirk Douglas, Lizabeth Scott and the wonderful Kristine Miller. It’s pretty good. I can’t believe I never heard of it before.
I think I’ll wait a few more years to catch up with Cannibal Holocaust! I spent Thanksgiving with family which was a good break from sitting in my new house wearily contemplating yet another box.
I was going to say I’d never seen I Walk Alone and was surprised to find I had reviewed it. Seems like I liked it pretty well.

… and they keep pumpin’ ’em out!, though, thank heavens, they usually have little appeal.

LOL. With luck I will have a TV and regular Wi-Fi this weekend. But don’t count on it. Once I do, I will probably watch a bunch of films noir that are holiday themed. My kind of Christmas movie this year.
Oh no, Ms Deeds B Smith comes to town and has a Wonderful (Life)Time on 34th Street… and we’ll never cease to hear about it!
