I survived the move and will be back to regularly scheduled programming as soon as recovery permits. I’ve missed you guys.

I then carried on with my chronological journey and and stopped midway through 1978. You can find my reviews of 1934-1978 films and “Top 10” lists for the 1929-1936 and 1944-77 films I saw here. For the past several months I have circled back to view the pre-Code films that were never reviewed here.

I’m a retired Foreign Service Officer living in Indio, California. When I’m not watching movies, I’m probably traveling, watching birds, knitting, or reading.

Rock on!
Congratulations! Welcome back. Very glad to read your reviews of all those wonderful films.
Missed you too, Bea. Hope Vegas is good to you and yours.
Planning on using the city?
So far so good. The actual move was a comedy/tragedy of errors and we are resting up in our tiny temporary air bnb.
That’s great, Bea. Welcome back. Your movie reviews are really appreciated here in Oz – in fact your website is fantastic. You were missed. Tried to message before but it failed. Now will probably double up. All the best.
Hi Peter! Glad to hear from you and hope you will comment often. Where in Oz do you live? My husband and I lived in PNG and took every chance we had to escape to your wonderful country.
Now in Melbourne but have also lived in Sydney and all over in Queensland when I was working (recently retired). Spent a year, 1971, working from Lae PNG as a surveyor’s assistant. Arduous but have vivid images from that year.
Much better Lae than Port Moresby! I went there on business and we got a tour of the crocodile farm and the cocoa plantation. PNG is so unforgettable in so many ways!
Missed ya too Busy Buzzy Bea
Look for a review of Alien soon
