Very interesting. I plan to revisit BRIEF ENCOUNTER and CHILDREN OF PARADISE. MILDRED PIERCE is a favorite! On to 1946!

I know how you feel about Children of Paradise. That’s why it’s a list of my favorites and not “best” movies. I could hardly wait for the year to be over.
